We're all home. Everyone slept well last night. It's all, so...'normal.' Liz is physically and emotionally exhausted, but I'm so glad she could rest. She needs to take it easy today, so a friend from church is taking the boys to play for a while and go to an Easter egg hunt. I'll go to an MBA study group for a while, then back home to help out.
Me lady was overwhelmed last night when she opened the cards, care packages, gifts, emails, and text messages received over the past week or two. Yes, we received them, but I didn't open anything from this past week (and I wasn't able to bring anything into the hospital). Liz has always been the humble giver... It's tough for her to receive. But the tears in her eyes made me smile. Thanks for showing your care and love for her and for our family. And thanks to everyone who is providing positive thoughts and/or prayers on her (and our family's) behalf. I truly believe that it helps. A lot.
Busy day today. At least it's finally sunny outside. Sunny inside too.
The two last submissions for the Team Liz logo contest are below! Unless you sneak one in, which is totally cool. My technically guru-ical brother will help get a poll together so we can take a vote! I'll see if we can allow everyone to pick their favorite 2 or 3. These are all awesome, thanks for entertaining me and making us all smile.
Go Team Liz.
