The less bad news: no obvious signs of cancer anywhere else, going to get blood work, echo cardio gram, full body bone scan, and abdominal/chest CT between today and Wednesday.
Next steps: wait for full pathology results, get more tests. If cancer is localized, aggressively treat and eradicate! Not entertaining any other "ifs."
Liz sure is beautiful. Look at those eyes! She ate the pickle first. Sour like today's news.

Wow. I hate numbers and measurements. I hate when they tell you there's more tests to do. I hate that you are there having to hear such crappy things. Each step, though, is a one step closer to remission - so keep putting one foot in front of the other. Occasionally you might need someone to lift your foot up for you - but that's okay. That's what friends and family and BCC's are for.
ReplyDeleteI love the pickle! Eric drank pickle juice straight from the jar - it's a common cancer craving - and yes, the sour is definitely fitting. Few things are more sour than what's on your plate right now and for that I am so sorry. Where's the Diet Coke? That'll wash the sour down nicely - or at least cover it up for a sec. :)

ReplyDeleteBoo to the news that the lump is that big, but I am grateful that they don't see it any place else. Lots of prayers coming your way that all the tests will come back as good as possible. Aaron thank you for being such a wonderful husband and father, you are truly a great man. I know that Liz will have lots of strength by having you by her side. You are both wonderful and strong people.
