ReplyDeleteTeri, yeah, it's a stupid song. And it's actually the one I was so angry about when we heard it on the heavenly cancer harp last week. But it's interesting that in times of crisis you latch onto different things... We even heard Pink's song "Try" song again today and I got all weepy. We thought that was Cohen's motivational anthem to keep running at soccer. Guess not.
One of my 'stupid songs' right now is called 'Worn', by Tenth Avenue North. It gets me Every. Single. Time. (Wait, are we talking about stupid songs??) You guys are on my mind so much, probably because I know you got this in the bag, but also because I just love you both a ton...

ReplyDeleteGo Team Liz!!! Another semi stupid song that has gotten me through many of my lows is "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba. I get knocked down but I get up again, you're never going to keep me down......
ReplyDeleteThis was our family theme song for our little Pyper also and still is. She survived and thrives, even though she still has MANY battles ahead. We will never give up just like for Liz. She is an amazing woman, a special spirit of our Heavenly Father sent here for specific purposes, even knowing that this was probably going to be part of her plan I know in Heaven she said, "Bring it on", just as she does now. Her strength and faith will carry her and the family through. We love you guys and you are all in our prayers every day. Hugs to all!
