Liz has breast cancer.
Oof.
She saw the OB one week ago for what everyone thought was a clogged duct. Surgeon opinion last Friday. Surgical biopsy on Monday, we all found out two days ago on Tuesday night (3/5/13). Yikes. We don't know much about it yet, but we're scheduling lots of appointments (genetic counselor today, MRI tomorrow, oncologist on Monday). We're blessed to have lots of great doctors and options in the area. We'll see what happens.
I'll use this blog to provide quick updates and thoughts as we go through this journey side by side.
